Campaigns for the restoration of the Lichfield Canal and also the Hatherton Canal through Cannock. Promotes the restoration as public amenities for boating, angling, walking, cycling etc. and raises funds to carry out physical restoration work.

Restoration work is being achieved thanks to the considerable support from volunteer groups such as the Waterway Recovery Group, and from receipt of various donations and grants.
