Lifeworks North Staffs is a charity that supports marginalised people 14+ in North Staffordshire and Staffs Moorlands with Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Tourette's Syndrome, mostly with mental ill health, and their carers to find a sustainable lifestyle. We do this through helping with social interpretation (advocacy), one-to-one appointments, lifecoaching, client activities and drop-ins, carers' groups and befriending. Established in 2006 we now have over 950 clients and 330 carers that we are supporting.

Impact

One of our clients hadn't been out of their home for 8 years without our CEO’s help. They now go weekly to the shops with one of our befrienders. Around 20% of Lifeworks 900+ client’s would have no contact with the outside world if it were not for Lifeworks and around 10% cannot leave their homes without our help. We also help 330+ carers.
