Upper Moreton Rural Activities Community Interest Company offers a diverse range of rural-based courses and activities designed to promote learning, personal development and wellbeing. We work with vulnerable adults recovering from mental ill health, as well as children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities. We also welcome schools, colleges and community groups.

Our activities include:
• Animal care – delivered on-site at Upper Moreton Farm
• Horticulture and sustainable growing – covering all aspects from field to fork
• Conservation and climate change awareness – including a tree-planting initiative for wildlife planned for autumn 2025
• Healthy eating and cooking – incorporating opportunities to prepare meals and welcome community groups to share in the experience as an act of goodwill
• Woodworking and tree science – exploring the full journey from seed to finished wooden items
• Support in everyday English and mathematics – helping individuals refresh or develop essential skills in an accessible and engaging way
• Guidance with digital learning – building confidence in using digital tools and technologies
• Rural crafts, design and natural crafting – fostering creativity through nature-inspired projects
• Nature-based learning and foraging – encouraging a deeper connection with the natural environment
• Preparation for volunteering and employment – building practical skills and confidence for future opportunities
• Exploring small business development – supporting individuals in generating and developing entrepreneurial ideas
• Community involvement projects – including the development of green spaces, and collaborative work with local parks, charities, and parish council collaborative projects
